In the 1999-2000 season, Ms. Dixon sang Sieglinde in Die Walküre; Lisa in Pique Dame and Elsa (Lohengrin); 3rd Norn (Götterdämerung) in Mannheim; Marchellin (Rosenkavalier) with Staats Theater in Kassel; Bess (Porgy & Bess) in Gärtnerplatz and was soprano soloist in Verdi's Requiem. Some upcoming performances include: the title role of Ariadne auf Naxos with Gärtnerplatz Theater; Bess with The Frieburg Theater and in the States, Ms. Dixon will sing Lisa in Pique Dame with Opera Grand Rapids (Fall of 2001).

In the 1997-98 season, she sang Agathe in Der Freischütz, Tatiana in a new production of Eugene Onegin, Desdemona in Otello, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Eva in Die Meistersinger von Nürenberg and the Marschallin in Der Rosenkavalier at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, in addition to concerts across Europe.

Ms. Dixon triumphed with Marschallin in a new production of Der Rosenkavalier at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in the 1996-97 season and added Desdemona to her repertoire. Additional roles at the Nationaltheater Mannheim include the Countess, Nedda in I Pagliacci, Corinna in Il viaggio a Reims and Margherita in Mefistofele. In Munich, she sang the title role in Ariadne auf Naxos at the Gärtnerplatztheater, and at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, she had great success with Donna Elvira in a new production of Don Giovanni as as well as in the United States at Opera Grand Rapids. The artist has also sung at the opera houses in Frankfurt, Hanover, Wuppertal, Darmstadt, Kassel, Braunschweig and Gelsenkirchen in roles such as the Countess, Donna Elvira and Ariadne.

Ms. Dixon performed the role of Bess in Porgy and Bess in Götz Friedrich's critically acclaimed production at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. She also sang Bess at the first Spoleto Festival in Melbourne, Australie, and has performed that role at the Châtelet in Paris, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and at the Royal Albert Hall in London. She made her New York City Opera debut in Malcolm X by Anthony Davis. The artist has sung with The New York Philharmonic, The Cleveland Orchestra, New World Symphony, The American Symphony Orchestra, Musica Sacra and The Scottish Chamber Orchestra. In concert, Janice Dixon has sung at the Rundfunk und Fernsehaufnahmen in Hilversum, in Antwerpen and in Baden (bei Wien), and she was the soprano soloist in the Poulenc Gloria at Carnegie Hall. She has also made guest television appearances throughout Europe.
